About the Inland Empire MBEC

Based in Riverside, California, the Inland Empire MBEC is a Federally Funded Program by the Minority Business Development Agency U.S.Department of Commerce.

The Inland Empire MBEC (Minority Business Enterprise Center) serves as an economic catalyst, providing quality technical assistance, training, MBE/WBE certification and loan packaging services to high growth minority business owners in the Inland Empire, Orange County and San Diego areas.

All services are provided in a bilingual/bicultural environment (English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese). The Inland Empire MBEC is located in Riverside and is committed to enhancing the local economy through job creation, procurement matching, financial growth and access to capital.

In order to be eligible for the Inland Empire MBEC services, your business must meet the following criteria:

  1. Must be at least 51% owned by ethnic minorities.
  2. Must be located in the counties of Riverside, San Diego, Orange, and San Bernardino.
  3. Must be an established for-profit entity.

The Inland Empire MBEC Program concentrates on rapid-growth potential minority business enterprises, i.e., those generating $500,000 or more in annual revenues or capable of generating significant employment and long-term economic growth.
